Tracon Coffee

Tracon started the coffee export business three decades ago. Coffee is the most important commodity of our country, thus, among the various business lines the company specializing, utmost attention is given to the coffee export business. We export the finest Ethiopian Arabica coffee to commercial and specialty markets all over the world. Tracon has broken many local export records in its coffee export history. Our modern processing line includes the latest color sorting technology, which enables us to produce coffee of the highest standard and ensure a consistent quality for our buyers. Tracon has a 30,000 sq ft facility that is dedicated to coffee processing. A high degree of processing flexibility also allows us to prepare coffee directly to customer specifications. In recent years, we have invested in coffee farms to supply our clients' demand for organic and traceable coffee.

The coffee business line of the company has a well-structured organization and management system where all the activities of procurement, processing, and export are focused on delivering good and consistent quality coffee, timely execution of contracts, and high level customer satisfaction.

Tracon Coffee Day

Coffee Liquoring Laboratory
Our coffee liquoring laboratory is the backbone of our coffee business and key to decades-long relationships with our customers across the world. Pillared and specialized with master cuppers having a minimum experience of 20 years, we guarantee the supply of premium quality coffee consistently.
Coffee Processing Plant
Tracon has established a modern coffee cleaning and storage plant on 30,000 meters of land. The plant is equipped with modern coffee processing machines and color sorter. The machine has the capacity to process 10 containers per hour. All the processing jobs are mechanical and electronic, including final hand picking on conveyor belts.
Washing and Drying Stations
Tracon owns a combined of 30 washing and drying stations. This decision was made to control the fermentation of the coffee which is directly correlated with the coffee quality. We have invested our stations in different coffee regions of Ethiopia to save processing time, transportation costs but also to create jobs in different parts of the nation and reduce C02 emissions.
